The tour begins from Chandigarh as we head towards the peaceful hill town of Sarahan. Surrounded by tall mountains and pine forests, Sarahan offers a refreshing atmosphere and calm environment. It’s an ideal stop to begin your journey into Himachal’s serene beauty. The town is quiet, scenic, and perfect for a relaxed evening. We stay overnight in Sarahan.
From Sarahan, we drive to the beautiful valley of Sangla. Known for its lush green views, snow-covered mountains, and apple orchards, Sangla is one of the most picturesque spots in Himachal. On the way, we explore the traditional Kamru Fort and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The river flowing beside and the village life makes Sangla a memorable destination. We rest here for the night.
We leave Sangla and continue our journey deeper into the mountains as we travel to Tabo. On the way, we visit the scenic Nako Lake and the mysterious Gue Mummy site, which holds a naturally preserved body in a small Himalayan village. The landscape begins to change, giving way to barren mountains and rugged beauty. Tabo is a calm and spiritual town, perfect for unwinding. Overnight stay in Tabo.
After exploring Tabo, we head to Kaza, the heart of Spiti Valley. The journey includes visiting the ancient Tabo Monastery and natural meditation caves nearby. As we reach Kaza, we find a blend of Tibetan culture, scenic mountains, and peaceful vibes. Kaza is the largest town in the region and serves as a base for exploring nearby places. We stay in Kaza and enjoy the local atmosphere.
Today, we explore the most iconic spots around Kaza. We visit Key Monastery, which sits on top of a hill and offers panoramic views of the valley. Then we drive to Kibber Village, one of the highest inhabited villages in the world. The quiet streets, local homes, and views make it a peaceful and unforgettable experience. After enjoying the beauty and calmness, we return to Kaza for the night.
We head out for a visit to the famous Chandratal Lake, also known as the Moon Lake. The route is surrounded by high mountains and open skies. Once at the lake, we enjoy the stunning view and peaceful surroundings. The crystal-clear water and silence make it a must-visit spot. After spending some time near the lake, we return to Kaza for our final night in Spiti.
On the last day, we begin our return journey to Chandigarh. The drive back is filled with scenic views and peaceful memories from the Spiti Valley. This tour leaves you with unforgettable experiences, stunning landscapes, and a feeling of calm and adventure. The journey ends with happy hearts and lots of beautiful moments.
